This February, we will have our first REM gathering of the year! We will be hosting it at our Town Square Collaborative home on the University of the Ozarks campus in Clarksville, Arkansas.

The Rev. Sara Anne Berger leads our cohort gatherings with dinner on Sunday evening. The gathering continues on Monday morning with a morning session, lunch, and then the afternoon session before the gathering ends. The cohort meet a minimum of 4 times a year.

At this REM gathering, we will be broadly thinking about “The Proclamation of the Gospel”, and specifically about proclamation–about how we proclaim as churches, and how that proclamation invited and welcomes folks into our congregations. We’ll have the Rev. Lindy Vogado from 2nd Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, to present about welcoming and belonging, on Friday night. On Saturday, we will have Town Square Collaborative Administrative Assistant, Amanda Demoret, and student worker, Jalissa Hollingsworth, leading a workshop on Social Media 101 for churches, and the Rev. Sara Anne Berger, the assistant director of Town Square Collaborative, will lead a workshop about our unique proclamation as individual churches of Jesus Christ.
